From companies' own job boards on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and SmartRecruiters. Every role links to the company's posting, so you apply at the source.
Every board is read again every six hours, and a role leaves the list soon after its board stops listing it. If one closes while you are looking, its posting says so.
Yes. Pick Remote under Job type to see remote roles on their own, or together with full-time, contract or any other type.
It keeps the roles that match the target title, skills, experience level and work mode in your career profile, with the closest fits on top.
It lands in Saved Jobs and on your tracker, and Get That Role starts tailoring your resume and cover letter for it.
Yes. The title, place, filters and page live in the address, so a link or a reload brings back the same list.
A link to a job posting, from a company's own board or a job site. If the page sits behind a login, paste the posting's text instead and tailoring picks up from there.
A tailored resume, a cover letter and three short messages: a note for the recruiter, a referral request and a follow-up. A fit score and a keyword check come with them.
It starts from the career profile you set up once, leads with your closest experience and works in the posting's keywords. Every change is listed, so you can check it before you send.
Yes. Every document is text you can change in place, and Restore brings back the draft. Copy it, or download it as a file for wherever you apply.
Yes. Pick Professional, Confident, Warm, Concise or Enthusiastic and the letter is rewritten in that tone.
How closely the role matches your profile, out of 100, with what lines up and what is missing beside it. 80 and up is worth applying to; lower scores show what to tailor first.
Every resume you have: your master, the ones made for a job and the ones you make by hand. Open any of them beside the live page and its checks, in any of six free templates. Edits save on their own, and History keeps your last ten versions.
Yes. Upload a PDF or Word file, or paste the text. The file is read once and never stored, and every line it brings in is checked against what you gave it, so nothing is added that was not there. It becomes a resume only when you save it.
A score out of 100 from content, best practices, format, length and readability, and it updates as you edit. 80 and up is Excellent and 60 and up is Good. Every check is listed, and most have a fix that changes it in one press or takes you to the line.
It shows once you attach a job, from your saved jobs or the posting's text, and counts the must-haves and nice-to-haves your resume covers. Matched words are underlined on the page, and the two scores are never blended.
With One page on, the spacing between sections tightens first, then the margins, then the line height, then the type size down to 9pt. It never cuts or rewrites a word. If the page still runs over, the page pill turns red and the checks point to the longest bullets.
Open Export in the editor and pick PDF or Word, and the file downloads. Print, or Cmd or Ctrl+P, opens a clean copy in a new tab, and Text and JSON download from the same menu.
Pick a saved job, a track and an interviewer, then press Start. The interviewer reads each question aloud, you answer by voice or by typing, and it follows up on what you said before moving on.
One of three automated interviewers, each with a voice and style of their own: Maya the hiring manager, Marcus the recruiter or Priya the senior panel interviewer. The first question is about the company and role you picked.
Yes, on the Engineering track. After the second question you get a short JavaScript task in an editor inside the room. Talk through your approach as you write; when you submit, your code is checked and the interviewer reacts before the next question.
Each answer is scored on structure, specificity, ownership and depth, with the parts of the STAR method it covers. The debrief adds your pacing, filler words and confidence, and your code score on the Engineering track.
No. Turn the camera off in setup and type your answers instead of speaking. With the camera on, the picture is shown only to you and is never recorded.
Yes. Save a session to see it under History, and save your best answer as a STAR story to reuse in the real interview.
For each job you track: the recruiter, the likely hiring manager, people on the team and alumni from your school. Each one shows where they were found and how sure the match is.
Public places only: the job posting, LinkedIn search, the company's team pages, GitHub for engineering roles and alumni searches. You never connect or upload your LinkedIn account. In the preview, the people shown are examples and each link opens a LinkedIn people search.
No. You send each one yourself on LinkedIn. Open LinkedIn copies the draft as it opens, so you paste, read it over and send.
Nine: cold intro, referral request, recruiter outreach, pre-apply ping, post-apply note, follow-up, informational chat, interviewer research and thank-you. It suggests one for where your application stands, and every draft is yours to edit.
Set each person's status, from Drafted to Sent, Replied, Referral offered or Meeting booked. The counts add up per job, and a note with no reply after five days gets a nudge and a one-tap follow-up.
Yes. Add a name, a title and a LinkedIn link, and they get a drafted message like everyone else. Remove them any time, with their notes and drafts.
Preparing, Applied, Interview and Offer. A rejected or withdrawn role moves to the Closed tray under the board, out of the way but kept.
Every job you save from Find Jobs, paste as a link or save with the browser extension starts in Preparing. Track job at the top adds any other job you have.
When a job moves to Applied, a follow-up is set for 7 days later. The card shows the date and says Overdue once it passes, and the bell lists it until you change or clear the date.
Drag it to another column, or open it and pick its stage. With a keyboard, press Space on a card and use the arrow keys. On a phone, press and hold a card to drag it.
The jobs you track, applications sent this week, your response and interview rates, offers, and follow-ups due. Response rate counts applications that reached a recruiter screen or an interview.
Not yet. In the preview the inbox runs on sample replies, so you can watch cards move without connecting an email account.
It saves the job you are looking at to Get That Role in one click, from any job site or careers page, and shows where a job you saved stands.
Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc, on Mac and Windows.
Only the job posting on the page you are on, and only when you press its button or shortcut. It never reads people's profiles and sends nothing to our server.
Yes. On a careers page that lists jobs, pick the ones you want, or right-click any job link and choose Save link to Get That Role.
No. It never fills in or sends a form. You apply on the company's site, then mark the job Applied from its thanks-for-applying page.
Yes. Your saves go to your Get That Role board in the same browser. Get That Role is in a private preview, so join the waitlist first.
Your profile, jobs, drafts, notes and contacts stay in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not synced between devices and we cannot see them. Our database holds your account record, your sessions and public job listings.
Your email address, your name when Google or Apple provides it, the identifier they give us, how and when you signed in, whether your account is let in or on the waitlist, and the time and version of the terms you accepted. Sessions and sign-in codes are stored only as hashes.
No. We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or use it to train models. Nothing you type is sent to an AI provider, and no advertising or social media scripts run on this site.
Only the two that sign-in needs: a signed cookie keeps you signed in, and a short one protects a Google or Apple sign-in while it is in progress. Page-view analytics are optional, run only if you allow them, and set no cookies.
No. Your camera picture is shown only to you, and the video stays on your device: it is never recorded, analyzed or uploaded. Dictation uses your browser's own speech recognition, which may send audio to the browser maker, and you can type instead.
Yes. Clear my data on your Profile removes everything Get That Role keeps in your browser, including what the browser extension holds. Delete account also removes your account, its sessions and its sign-in identifiers from our server. For anything else, email privacy@getthatrole.com.
